I had a dog that had puppies befor but that was along time ago so I really dont know what to do.And im not sure if she will stay still when she is haveing the puppies because she I really hypper.Is there N E thing I will need to do befor she has puppies and during shes haveing puppies?Do I need to buy n e thing.
Just provide her with a comfortable place to do her thing and it is best if you let her do her thing by herself. It provides better bonding between mother and pup. Mother dogs have natural instinct. It’s best not to handle the pups for a few days. And don’t get grossed out when she licks the puppies clean when the first come out.
I’m taking care of some family’s dogs for the week, but I only own one dog. My dog always seems very aggressive towards other dogs, but they seem to be getting along alright. My dog is always trying to lick under the chin of one of the other dogs, and that dog doesn’t seem to like it much. Is that some type of communication, and if yes, what does it mean?
Also…since I’ve got you here 
… my dog keeps taking the toys aways from that particular dog. If the one dog starts playing by himself with a toy, or if they start a game of tug of war, my dog starts growling and takes the toy away. Is that how dogs normally play, or is my dog being a bit selfish?
Licking the face/mouth is submission to the other dog, most domimate dogs don’t like it much and will growl and show agression. its what puppies do to mom wolves to invoke… hmm well feeding…. it makes them up chuck food for the pups. older dogs who do this to an alpha is corrected by a growl or just a show of teeth. it also mean ur dog is a bit insecure.
note how the other dog is standing his chest out, head high, tail up. he’s holding his ground, this is a dog that starts a fight with others that want to fight. but ur dog is saying i want to be friends….u are boss. i would correct the aggresser. a light touch on the shoulder or neck. and be sure the dog walks away not u.
taking toys is a normal play at my house, it involes growling and barking…and running around like crazy dogs they chase and play tug o war. but i stop play when it goes beyond playing to being slightly aggressive. i can hear the change of tone in the dogs… a growl deepens to a snarl…and a bark changes to that deep growlish bark. that is like when someone is at the door. they stand differ..like i said above….their brother and have been together their whole lives.
but i can’t see if ur dogs are playing..or if they mean business.

I have 5 puppies and their mother has ran away and I’m worried that they might die if not taken care of properly.

You will have to bottle feed the pups for about another week every 3 hours around the clock!
Once they are about 4 weeks old you can start to introduce puppy mush to them. It is very easy to make
Puppy mush:
3 cups good quality puppy food crushed up in a blender add warm water just enough to make a runny oatmeal like mush. Pour this into pie pans. Let the pups lap this up ok. Also have a shallow bowl of puppy replacement formula mixed 1/2 & 1/2 with water for them to drink. You can feed them this 4 times a day. You will have to watch them while eating and have a towel ready to clean them up after they eat. Let them drink as much as they want too. after they have all eaten pick up the dishes and then clean the pups up! Mom usually does this.
At 5 weeks old soak the puppy food in warm water until very soft. Break it up with a fork. Feed them this 4 times a day along with water. Get some drip water bottles and allow the pups to drink when every they want too. No need for pupy milk any longer.
6weeks old soak food and feed the pups 4 times a day. Have 2 water bottles for the pups. clean the pups up ok.
7 weeks old soak 1/2 the puppy food add regular puppy dry food into the wet food. Water all the time.
8 weeks old dry puppy food & water.
9 weeks odl rehome the pups their ready for their new homes!

Right now you should keep the pups warm and safe and well fed. Get them vet checked for worms and have your vet teach you how to give the pups their wormer. Please do not get any over the counter wormers. They dont work and they do make the pups very sick and some can even kill the pups.
Your vet is the very best person to guide you in this matter ok.

I just lost my dog 3 days ago to Parvo now I am left with her 3 week old puppies I love them to death but I dont want to lose them. I feed them goat milk when I can and also puppy supplement. But Im worried their losing hydration and I dont have the hundreds of dollars to take em to a vet but I do wanna save them dearly what should I do?
go get puppy milk from walmart mix it then try feeding with an eyedropper they need to be fed every 4 to 5 hours at 3 weeks old so you need to figure out how to feed them at least that often or find some one who can while you are at work in about a week you can try feeding them from a shallow pan and things will get much easier you can also just give them water in the bottle to get them hydrated and dont forget you need to stimulate them to get them to go potty good luck and get them vaccinated for parvo at 6 weeks you can do it yourself just go to your local farm supply store and ask if they have dog vaccines most do and they should only cost about $5 each. much cheaper than the vet visit just make sure you read all the dirrections carefully and follow them good luck and i hope your puppies make it
